It was a truly special yoga retreat. Three teachers very different in background, path, and sensitivity, yet able to create a harmonious group where differences naturally integrate and support each other, with irony and lightness. Viniyoga practices, breathwork, chanting, and reflections on philosophy created a deep atmosphere that never felt heavy. The farmhouse surrounded by nature, the silence, good food, and the authentic connections within the group made the experience deeply regenerating, human, and meaningful.

I participated in the “Hrdayam: The Heart of Healing Yoga Retreat” in April 2025 at Basaletto, during a period of personal change and challenge. Immersed in the Umbrian countryside and surrounded by people with different life experiences, yet united through the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram practice — which Viviane, Sandeep, and André teach from the heart — I found support in reconnecting with myself and moving forward into a new phase of life.

Salve a tutti, ho partecipato anche io a questa magnifica giornata di introspezione interiore... è stata per me un'esperienza suggestiva. Il canto è stato il momento più evocativo, mi ha riportato in una dimensione leggera e quasi curativa dello spirito. Tutte le tensioni e i pensieri pesanti si sono attenuati lasciando spazio ad una leggerezza completa, devo dire che questo stato mi ha portato a non sentire né fame nè afflizione.... invito tutti a partecipare ai prossimi incontri
E’ passato quasi un anno dal ritiro yoga a Basaletto, ma il ricordo di quell’esperienza è ancora vivo in me. In quell’occasione, persone diverse, alcune delle quali non si conoscevano neppure, sono state accomunate dal desiderio di approfondire il proprio rapporto con lo yoga e con loro stesse. Grazie alla preparazione, alla professionalità e anche al diverso carattere degli insegnanti, siamo stati condotti per mano nello studio dello yoga e della sua pratica, con approfondimenti stimolanti, che hanno superato le mie aspettative, e che ci hanno spinto, persino, ad affrontare il canto vedico. Il risultato di questi giorni di ritiro ancora mi accompagna, in una crescente consapevolezza del mio corpo, della mia mente e delle loro possibilità.
